STANICA Servis za savremeni ples pokreće KONDENZ - festival savremenog plesnog soloa, sa ciljem da predstavi novije radove, pre svega sa područja Balkana, i da na taj način široj beogradskoj publici približi savremenu koreografiju i savremene plesne prakse kao značajan segment umetničkog stvaralaštva danas.
Solo kao plesna forma je tokom poslednje decenije postao čest oblik izražavanja plesača i koreografa, što podstiče na razmišljanje o razlozima i implikacijama ove pojave: produkcijskim, finansijskim, filozofskim i estetskim. Proces rada na solo predstavi, kao i sama predstava su najčešće načini autorskog preispitivanja i auto-refleksije, a nekada i ispovedanja i samopredstavljanja.
Sam naziv festivala upućuje na proces pretvaranja materije iz jednog stanja u drugo. Preneto u jezik savremenog plesa, to je pretvaranje zamisli u materiju, otelovljenje neke ideje ili misaonog ili emotivnog procesa. Takodje, sam festival će kroz godine prolaziti kroz različite oblike, u odnosu na relevantna dogadjanja na svetskoj plesnoj sceni.
STATION Service for Contemporary Dance lounches KONDENZ - Festival of Contemporary Dance Solo with the intention to present recent European works, foremostly from the Balkan region, and thus advancing to the wider audience in Serbia contemporary choreography and innovative dance practices as important aspects of artistic creation today.
Dance solo became a common expressive form on the part of dancers and choreographers in the last decade, which prompts reflection on causes and implications of this phenomenon both in terms of conditions of production, as in terms of philosophy or aesthetics. The proces of work on a solo performance, as indeed the performance per se, is a prevailing mode of creative inspection and self-reflection - and sometimes a mode of confession or self-representation.
The title of the festival itself addresses the process of transformation of matter, from one substance to another or, in the language of contemporary dance, translation of thought into matter and embodiment of ideas, concepts or emotions. The festival itself will be subjected to
transformation and shift in form according to currents on the contemporary dance scene.
