In response to the ongoing genocide in Gaza and decades of settler-colonial oppression, we express our unequivocal solidarity with the Palestinian people in their struggle for freedom, justice and historical accountability.
On Friday, the 18th edition of Kondenz came to a close with major themes – our choreographer, Dragana Bulut presented her doctoral research on the social choreographies of emotion, while the evening program was concluded by Brazilian choreographer Paulina Lima with her performance ORO NEGRO, presented at Bitef Theatre.
Yesterday, the fifth day of Kondenz began with a “party” at Magacin, filled with an active audience and artistic interventions by Baxi Ostrowski, Kadence Neill, and Đorđe Živadinović Grgur, while the evening program continued in the spirit of experiment and rebellion, best embodied by Dušan Murić and his punk approach to performance.

On January 21st in Belgrade the plainclothes police arrested several colleagues from the civil society and arts sector, citizens of Croatia, Slovenia, North Macedonia, Romania, and Albania, at a hotel in Belgrade. They were detained at the police station for several hours and were given 24 hours to leave Serbia and banned from entering our country for the next year. We demand that the state of Serbia apologize to all detained colleagues and their countries and immediately annul the disgraceful decisions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Serbia.
We are opening the call for the workshop Intention, Invitation, Initiation, led by New York artist André M. Zachery, as part of the Puzzle #8 program. The workshop will take place at the Magacin Cultural Center in Belgrade from December 3rd to 6th, 2024, from 16:00 to 20:00.
